So You Survived the Rapture. What now?

Dad Bod Weekly is the digital soapbox of a middle-aged father of college-aged kids—someone who’s lived through the analog childhood and now watches the digital adolescence unfold with equal parts concern and curiosity. Each week, he writes essays reflecting on the strangeness of modern life, the quiet loss of what once felt normal, and the growing need to tell our children, “This isn’t how it’s supposed to be.” With a blend of personal insight, cultural observation, and a steady undercurrent of skepticism, Dad Bod Weekly invites readers to pause, reflect, and reconsider the world we’re building—and what we’re leaving behind.
